Marco Houweling (Senior Vice President Finance TomTom consumer division) joins the Advisory board of the I/O Digital Foundation


Marco Houweling (NL) is the Senior Vice President Finance of the Consumer Division at TomTom. He obtained his economics Master at Tilburg University. He is a member of the management team of the Consumer Division. Houweling’s focus is the strategic planning, financial planning and control as well as the day to day management of the division. Marco is a Dutch citizen and lives in the Netherlands.

Houweling sees himself as the ‘financial conscience” of the company with a strong heart for entrepreneurship. Marco has a proven track record and facilitates “controlled” growth by taking conscious and controlled risks and chances. He is proud of the role he has played in the successful (hyper)growth of TomTom, the succesful IPO and the leading role TomTom has obtained in the European Tech industry.

The advisory board

Within the I/O Digital Foundation Marco takes place in the Advisory Board. The advisory board consists of top industry experts who advise the foundation in their field of experience and contribute to the future stability and growth of the Foundation.
